A project of vast magnitude for its time. Proposes the granting of land to the company on either side of the right of way to be sold by them to finance construction. The government would not be involved in the construction or its possible failure. The public would not be burdened with the expense. 77 pages with tables plus two folded maps. Professionally bound in blue quarter leather with blue marbled paper covered boards. Rear endpaper foxed. Overall, a fine, handsome copy.
