The Kiernan quadrangle is in eastern Iron County, in the western part of the northern peninsula of Michigan. The major structural feature is a north-northwest axis along which are uplifts of Lower Precambrian rocks in the northwestern and in the southeastern parts of the quadrangle. 88 pages with photographs, tables, charts, maps and index, plus the required five folded maps, all fine, are in the rear pocket. Bound in original gray paper covers with printing in black. California Division of Mines receiving stamp on the front cover. A very good plus copy.
