FLOODS OF JANUARY 1953 IN WESTERN OREGON AND NORTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA; GEOLOGICAL SURVEY WATER-SUPPLY PAPER 1320-D
Washington, DC: United States Geological Survey/USGS/Government Printing Office/GPO, 1959. First edition, first printing. Soft cover. Item #42210
The floods were notible for the magnitude of the peak discharges produced over so large and area. Noteworthy, too, is the record-breakin damage in some California basins. Pages 321 through 339 with graphs, tables, and map, plus the required map plate in the rear pocket. Bound in original orange stiff paper covers printed in black. New Mexico Bureau of Mines, and withdrawn stamps on the front cover. No other library markings, labels or pockets were ever present. A fine copy. Appears unused.
