Completed to Michigan City 1854 when last rail was laid in Putnam County. New Albany's economy expanded with the Railroad's presence starting in 1850s:" from Indiana Historical sign. The railroad 1956 became the Monon system. Single sheet printed on both sides with time tables and conductor and engineer instructions, folded lengthwise. A very good copy.
