ELECTRIC RAILWAY DICTIONARY (1911): DEFINITIONS AND ILLUSTRATIONS OF THE PARTS AND EQUIPMENT OF ELECTRIC RAILWAY CARS AND TRUCKS

Novato, CA: Newton K. Gregg Publisher, 1972. Facsimile reprint. Hardcover. Item #27710
ISBN: 091231821X

A high quality 1972 reprint of the 1911 first edition originally published by McGraw Publishing/Electric Railway Journal of New York. Definitions, illustrations, photographs and diagrams of the electric railway cars, and of parts, equipment and trucks. 292 pages plus 55 pages of ads in the rear. Unlike the locomotive and car builders' dictionaries, the 1911 edition of the ELECTRIC RAILWAY DICTIONARY was the only one ever published and is quite scarce in the original edition. Three tiny letters written on the upper corner of the front endpaper. Fine in fine and bright dust jacket with just a hint of rubbing at extremities. A very handsome copy.

Price: $115.00
