The fifth and last annual report covering the construction of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge for the period September 1, 1956, to its completion on October 23, 1957, the date of acceptance of the last contract. On August 20, 1957, both decks of the structure were opened to one-way traffic. 447 pages plus numerous foldout sheets of plans and diagrams.
