Inscribed by Thompson on the front free endpaper, "To Miss Bernice Cosgrove, with pleasant recollections of R.M.S. "Zeeland" Sept. 6-14, 1910, and with cordial regard of Eben Francis Thompson." Also laid in, is a folded hand written letter from Thompson to Miss Cosgrove presenting this copy of the book plus a copy of his complete translation of Omar Khayyám, and expressing his pleasure of her company on the "Zeeland." Bound in brown cloth with illustration on the front cover stamped in gilt. Light toning to the endpapers, else a near fine copy.
