A history of the building of the Moffat Tunnel through the Rocky Mountain Continental Divide by the Moffat Railroad. A total of 580 pages with photographs, tables and diagrams. Pages bulk thicker and printed on a better quality paper than the trade issue. Bound in original full black leather with lettering in gilt. Both volumes show moderate wear to the leather along the bottom edge from shelving. Both are very good plus in very good dust jackets, volume two with front flap present and professionally reattached. Original slipcase box no longer present.
