Contemporary hardcover rebinding of three quarter red leather with red cloth over covered boards. All edges in gilt. Original paper title label fixed to rear page. Circular bookplate of Sir David Lionel Salomons Bart on the front paste-down endpaper. Worn at corners. A very good copy. A very nice example of an early railway proposal.
