Laid in is a typed signed letter by Tinker inviting Adams to visit, dated 1932. "Adams was an American newspaper columnist and founder of the George Matthew Adams Newspaper Service, which syndicated comic strips and columns to newspapers for five decades." Bound in quarter dark brown cloth with textured paper boards. Lettering on spine in gilt. Top edges in gilt. Leading and bottom edges untrimmed. A hint of dulling to gilt on top. A very handsome, near fine copy.
