Robert B. Honeyman, Jr. was an avid collector throughout his lifetime. He collected in a variety of areas including art, science, American and English literature, stamps, British orders, decorations, medals, and others. His collection of books and manuscripts in the history of science was quite significant and was offered at auction at Sotheby, Parke, Bernet & Co. in London from 1978 through 1981. A complete set of seven volumes and each except one have the estimated prices laid in. Volume number written in red ink on the spine, else all seven are near fine copies.
