Yellowstone Park, WY: C.A. Hamilton [early 1920's]. Postcards. Item #46374
The Asahel Curtis color tinted photo post cards were commissioned by the Northern Pacific Railway Co. "Asahel Curtis (1874-1941) was a photographer based in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. His career included documentation of the Klondike Gold Rush period in Seattle, natural landscapes in the Northwest, and infrastructure projects in Seattle." Hamilton's Stores were concessioners in Yellowstone National Park from 1915 to 2002. C.T. American Art Colored. Printed by Quality Cine, Bloom Bros. Co., Minneapolis. All fifty postcards are present, housed within the original gray box printed in dark blue. The box shows a bit of wear along the corners. The cards are fine and bright, unused and as new, and the box is very good plus.
