Andrews and his men through Tennessee into Georgia, there seizing the steam engine, The General, and it's train to race back to Northern lines destroying telegraph, rail and bridges behind them; their capture, imprisonment and escape. The author was a participant in the raid. 416 pages engravings. Fine in very good plus dust jacket with one tiny tear.
