The La Moine Lumber & Trading Company operated one of Shasta County's largest sawmills, cutting premium grade Ponderosa, white pine and sugar pine into 'box shook' for California fruit growers. 89 pages with maps, photographs, bibliography and equipment diagrams. Bound in original olive colored buckram cloth. Cover from the magazine issue pressed onto the front cover. Map which was on the inside front cover of the magazine is tipped onto the front paste-down endpaper. The rear cover is fixed to the rear paste-down endpaper. A fine and bright copy, issued without a dust jacket.
