Title page feature color illustration of ocean and ship; next four pages are color illustrations of ship funnels and house flags; next page pilot flags; then two pages of national flags. These are followed by 17 pages of useful ship information. Then blank pages for writing in the journal. Fixed to the rear cover interior is a large folded world map with shipping lanes. Bound in original brown leather limp covers printed in gilt, with snap clasp. All edged in gilt. A little wear to the spine ends, however, it appears unused.
