Severe channel erosion accompanied the floods in Grand Canyon and damaged archeological sites dated A.D. 1050-1150 and modern facilities in Bright angel canyon. The most spectacular effects of the storm, however, were the mudflows and debris slides that occurred mainly in the amphitheaters at the heads of the gorges along the north rim. 43 pages with maps, photographs, tables, and references, plus the large folded map plate in the rear pocket.
