Many homopterans cause injuries or destruction to plants, including fruit trees and grain crops, and can be vectors of plant diseases. 886 and 186 pages respectively. From the library of Robert L. Usinger with his bookplates fixed to the front paste-down endpapers. Usinger (1912-1968) served on the faculty in the Department of Entomology at the University of California at Berkeley from 1946 until his untimely death in 1968. Bound in original dark green pebbled cloth with lettering stamped in gilt. Both volumes fine.
