The album consists of 59 color transparencies of the Many Murphy Mine taken in September, 2002. The majority of the fifty-five black and white photographs are 8x10 inches from the negatives, many from glass plates, held by the Genealogy Department, Denver Public Library. From the years about 1880 to 1920, they depict mine buildings and facilities, railroads, and mining towns in Colorado such as, The Mary McKinney Mine, Vindicator and Lillie Mines, Ajax Gold Mine, Independence, Colorado, and many others. Most have a one page description of the photograph. All are fine are in sleeves within a three ring binder. The binder is housed within a large slipcase. A fine set.
