The story of the Florence & Cripple Creek, the Colorado Springs & Cripple Creek District, and the Midland Terminal railroads which served the Colorado mining town of Cripple Creek. Cripple Creek was easily the most colorful of the world's gold camps, and did not fall far short of being the most productive. 463 pages with photographs, maps, rosters, car diagrams, bibliography and index, plus three full page color paintings by Richard Ward, with tissue guards.
